In the exterior courthouse scenes, the US and Alabama flags are seen flying from the balcony. In the first scene, the flags are correct, in that the US flag is on the right and the state flag on the left. In the closing scene, as Vinny leaves the courthouse, the flags are reversed, which is not in keeping with flag flying protocol.
