Gwen's birthday wish was to see what her life would be like "ten years from now."At the end of the movie we first jump forward "One Year Later..." to her next birthday and see Dave propose.Then the movie jumps to "Ten Years Later..." and we see the same scene with Dave and their family that Jessy had foreseen at the optometrist's.The caption should have read "Nine Years Later..." as a one year jump plus a ten year jump would have put the scene eleven years into the future.
