It is shown early in the movie for the diamond heist that the guard has to activate and deactivate the alarm with his key, then issue the code word "Mexico" over the radio, the "5th alarm" that did not go out over the phone line. Yet, when Frank and his crew break into the same vault room and trip the alarm, it is reset without the key and only the code word over the radio, and the alarm company does not even get suspicious of the break in, given the hour which it was not normally tripped, very early in the morning.
