Cates parks directly across from the entrance of the hillbilly bar. After the bar scene, Reggie & Cates are at the car. In the next shot, they walk out of an alley onto a street with a pink neon "Fong" sign in the background, and immediately stop at the jewelry store. After leaving the apartment, they walk under the same sign straight down the street to Cates' car. No explanation why they were in the other alley between the car & jewelry store.
