(at around 14 mins) When Wade is in the apartment dealing with the pizza delivery guy/stalker and pulls his pistol the safety on the pistol is on. Wade is only there to scare the kid. Pointing a gun at someone with no intention to shoot them and keeping the safety on is the proper way to hold a gun.
