Raptors in the Jurassic Park series are established as being capable of running 40-60 mph. However, when Owen, who is on a motorcycle, is being chased by two raptors, he escapes by running onto the ramp of a cargo plane that is taking off. In order to get sufficient life, larger planes need to go over 100 mph. The raptors would have been left far behind, but one gets onboard (briefly).
