After the flashback, Sheriff Goode encounters Josh on the road near Deena. Goode attempts to get Josh to come with him by claiming that Deena is suffering from a mental illness. They then steal his cruiser, and the dispatcher claims there is a "5150 in possession" of the car. 5150 refers to the California law that allows people to be involuntarily committed for mental illness. It would not be used in Ohio, where this film is set.
