The supertanker, between the two stolen submarines that fired nuclear missiles at each other, could not possibly have reached a safe distance from the blast radius without the supertanker itself having been destroyed by either of the stolen nuclear-tipped Polaris missiles. Not even so much as the massive tidal wave that would have followed appears.
