Kanithan (Vishal) says that the death causing lightening strike must have been an artificial, man-made lightening strike because in a real lightning strike, the light appears first but the sound is heard after a delay. However in reality, even during a real lightning strike, if the observer is standing close to the lightning (like the distance at which Simran stands), the light and sound will surely be observed simultaneously.
