In the beginning of the movie Reacher is in Washington DC and flowers are in full bloom and the trees are all dark green with leaves. At the girls school the students are playing soccer in t-shirts and shorts. On the plane, a phone screen shows a call made "a week ago" on June 28. But just a day later they pass kids on the streets dressed in costumes for for Halloween.
