When Buster makes his trick shot using the mirror, he does so incorrectly. The mirror is used to reflect the sight picture, which is out of the shooter's field of vision because the revolver is over his shoulder, into the shooter's eyes so he can see where the revolver is pointed. Therefore, the mirror is always held such that it is on the same side as the revolver.
