When he returns to his Jeep the next night to put a can of gasoline in its front seat, the license plate on Mrs. Wilton's car reads "SLY 662". Shortly after this, when Captain Dillon returns the car to Mrs. Dillon, its license plate has reverted to "SXP 840" again.
