when Susan takes the monsters to her parents house they start acting strange. its odd that Dr cockroach would not know how to act when he was once a human. Even if he had been a monster for so many years that he had forgotten what humans do you'd think his large IQ would have known better.
However, he is shown more than once going with his cockroach primary instincts rather than behaving like a human.
