After Kevin fails to save Mary Ann from taking her own life, then rushes in with a nurse to try to save her, Kevin's mother Alice and Pam look along with three other patients who peek into see what's just happened. In the very next shot behind Kevin, the nurse and now deceased Mary Ann, the other patients are absent, with just Alice and Pam that look in.
