SPOILER: In the exposition by Korg, Thor asks Mjolnir to protect Jane. This is supposedly the Magic that leads to Mjolnir calling out to Jane when she has cancer and is dying. Indeed, Jane also reads about the magical health benefits conferred by Mjolnir in the book about it, before she goes to New Asgard.However, towards the end, Thor suggests that using Mjolnir is draining Jane of her energy and continued use of Mjolnir will kill her, which it eventually does.Mjolnir is either protecting her or killing her. Can't be both.
