When they first meet, Therese asks Carol her name. This is an error, as Therese clearly knows Carol's name, as it is clearly shown on the sales slip, as Carol Aird, that Therese looks at in her apartment while her boyfriend sleeps. She later reveals that she mailed the gloves to Carol. In addition to this error, later, when Harge visits Carol and drops the mail on the bed, the top package, which the film focuses on and which obviously contains the gloves, is addressed to Harge Aird.
