Lt. Col. Devoe and Dr. Kelly are within ten feet of the detonator blast while they jump through the stained glass window, which would have been impossible to survive, as such a blast would have killed anyone within five to ten meters, or at the very least, would have left both of them permanently deaf and bleeding.
