The satellite in Carver's building is much too small to do anything useful, and would certainly not be on a stand that could so easily be pushed over (especially as it is stated to be worth $300m). Also, satellites are assembled in cleanroom conditions, at least Class 100,000 (ISO 8) which also requires cleanroom clothing.
