The signing of the contract is not recreated from Willy Wonka e la fabbrica di cioccolato, yet Willy Wonka references it in the climax, when he at first refuses to give Charlie and Grandpa Joe their lifetime supply of chocolate because they broke the rules. That's because it, like many of the original movie's events, took place when Tom and Jerry were not present, in this case being lost in the factory with Tuffy.
