After the camera pans down the Lake Eerie sign, there's a long shot of the beach in which the man in the red and white shorts is seen far inland, slowly making his way across the sand with a surfboard tucked under his arm. In the very next shot he's standing next to the water throwing the surfboard onto the lake.
