At 1h 07m 58s, Joel pulled the trigger on his grenade.
At 1h 08m 6s, the grenade exploded.
The difference is a painfully slow 8 seconds, completely ignoring the "count to 5" warning by Winnow. If it adhered to the 5 second rule, the grenade should have blown Joel to bits before the sand-gobbler even emerged from the ground.
