The film takes place in modern day, and features a joke near the end making fun of Liam Neeson constantly making far-fetched action movies. Liam Neeson provided the voice over, and it is clearly his current voice, however the cardboard display in the lobby of the theater for some reason uses a photo of Liam Neeson that appears to be from 25 years ago.
