During the transport scene when the convoy is attacked there would never be only 3 vehicles transporting a high value individual. In the evening this level of attack on the POTUS is attempted there will be heavily armed security in multiple vehicles. There would be a decoy convoy for diversion of possible attacks. The attack vehicles would also not have tags or any other identifying markings on them to make it harder to track down.
