In the sequence when the ark is opened, Indy and Marion are tied to a pole with an electric light mounted on top. As Belloq speaks the Hebrew incantation and the lid of the ark is removed, the electric light on top of the pole is on, then off, then on again between shots. (This happens *before* the power of the ark blows out all the electric lights at the altar.)
