When Julie Christie drives Stanley Baxter back to his lodgings she parks her car at an oblique angle to the sidewalk. But when Leslie Phillips drives off with her in the Bentley her Mini is parked parallel to the sidewalk, and when they return it is again parked at an oblique angle.
