The sign at the town meeting states Alex Kintner was killed on a Sunday (June 29). At the end when Brody and Hooper are paddling back to shore, Hooper tells Brody it is Tuesday. Six days have passed since Alex was killed, which would mean the present day is a Saturday, not Tuesday.
