(at around 1h 25 mins) After Vasquez cuts a hole in the conduit to allow Bishop to crawl to the transmitter, the metal cut out segment falls into the conduit pipe through the hole. When Vasquez replaces the cut out piece, it does not fall through. This is because she rotated the asymmetrical piece so that it would fit.
