For his "Nightmare in Echo Park" piece, Lou breaks into the house where the shooting took place and learns the identities of the family that lives there by chancing upon a letter bearing one of their names. However, the letter also reveals the address of the house to be on Campion Drive, in Westchester - roughly 20 kilometres away from Echo Park.
