The narrative conceit of the film is that Alan Turing explains his curiously empty military record by describing all his wartime code-breaking activities to a civilian police detective in 1951. In fact there is no evidence that any of the workers at Bletchley Park ever breathed a word about what they had done during the War to anybody not authorised to hear it - even their own families - prior to the 1970s. It is safe to assume that Alan Turing certainly never did.
