La rana Kermit e l'orso Fozzie si sono messi in testa di divenire star hollywoodiane. Decidono così di avventurarsi in un viaggio verso la mecca del cinema. Partendo con una bicicletta, lungo il viaggio sono costretti a cambiare mezzo di locomozione ogni qualvolta incontrano qualcuno che vuole unirsi a loro. In più, Kermit si ritrova alle prese con Doc Hopper, che lo vuole assumere come testimonial di una pubblicità che esalta la bontà delle cosce di rana fritte, e con i sentimenti d'amore nei confronti di Miss Piggy.
