Scooby-Doo e la Mystery Inc. vengono invitati dal famoso scrittore di libri horror Ben Ravencroft nella sua casa di campagna nel New England. In occasione della festa del raccolto d'autunno, gli abitanti del luogo, rispolverano la leggenda del fantasma di Sarah, la zia di Ben. Scooby e i suoi amici investigano come al solito per cercare indizi. Ma questa volta si scoprirà che Sarah era veramente una strega e non una Wicca e che Ben intende sfruttarla per dominare la terra.
