Aydin, un ex attore emotivamente spento, gestisce un piccolo albergo nel centro dell'Anatolia con la moglie Nihal, con cui ha un rapporto burrascoso, e la sorella Necla, reduce da un sofferto divorzio. Durante l'inverno, mentre la neve ricopre il paesaggio circostante, l'hotel si trasforma in un rifugio sicuro ma anche in un covo che inevitabilmente alimenta le loro animosità.
