Dopo aver tentato invano di fare i camerieri, Stanlio e Ollio si adattano a fare gli spazzini, e quando involontariamente sventano un colpo in banca, ricevono come premio l'iscrizione all'università di Oxford. Qui sono preda degli scherzi degli studenti, fino a quando Stanlio, per aver picchiato la testa contro la finestra, si trasforma in lord Paddington, nobile e coltissimo snob inglese che costringe Ollio a fargli da cameriere.
