In una città apparentemente tranquilla, una pioggia di meteore genera un sinistro meteorite verde che sembra avere effetti pericolosi sui cani, trasformati improvvisamente da animali docili a spietati assassini. Con gli abitanti costretti a difendersi e a lottare contro quelli che un tempo erano gli amici più fedeli, la giovane Roslyn si ritrova a cercare un modo per sopravvivere accompagnata dal suo fedele cane.
