Una divertente commedia ambientata in una città rurale dell'Australia che si prepara a diventare il centro del mondo anche se solo per qualche giorno. Siamo infatti nel 1969, alla vigilia dello sbarco sulla luna, e la piccola cittadina ospita l'unica postazione satellitare in grado di far comunicare la Nasa con gli astronauti della missione lunare. Una storiellina con situazioni già viste (ad esempio: i rapporti tra i tecnici della Nasa e il mondo della campagna) capace però di far sorridere senza annoiare.
