In una tranquilla domenica mattina di dicembre, mentre i bambini sono intenti nei loro giochi e le famiglie raccolte in preghiera, squadroni di aerei da guerra giapponesi sfrecciano roboanti nei cieli del paradiso hawaiano un attacco a sorpresa contro le forze armate statunitensi di base a Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor è la storia di un intenso amore nato sullo sfondo degli eventi del 7 dicembre 1941. Descrive le vicende di due giovani e audaci piloti e della bella e sensibile infermiera di cui sono entrambi innamorati. E' un imponente film sulla forza dell'amore e sul coraggio del singolo messi a dura prova da un drammatico momento storico.
