Alex Lewis, sicario ormai prossimo al ritiro, viene chiamato a svolgere un’ultima missione. Ma quando scopre che il bersaglio è una giovane ragazza, rifiuta di portare a termine l’incarico e si rivolta contro la malvagia organizzazione che l’ha assoldato. Il suo cammino di vendetta lo porta fino ai vertici del gruppo criminale, capeggiato dall’affascinante magnate immobiliare di El Paso Davana Sealman e dal figlio, che tengono in pugno le vite di molti ragazzi innocenti. Per salvare la pelle dovrà quindi dare loro la caccia e ucciderli prima che siano loro a farlo. Nel frattempo, è braccato anche dall’FBI, che nella persona dell’agente Vincent Serra è già sulle sue tracce.
