"Dimenticate tutto ciò che avete sempre sentito sui Vampiri", avverte Jack (James Woods), leader di un implacabile gruppo di ammazzavampiri. Il temibile Valek (Thomas Ian Griffith) è alla ricerca della croce di Berziers, l'unico simulacro in grado di garantire alla sua stirpe l'esistenza alla luce del sole. Jack e l'amico Montoya devono fermarlo prima che si impossessi della croce: partono all'inseguimento di Valek aiutati da Katrina, una ragazza morsa dal vampiro che ha con lui un contatto psichico diretto.
