We constantly ask ourselves if what we're saying is objectively true or wise, while remaining incapable of defining the ideal criteria for that. We all hope that our films will contribute to changing society and mankind. But we mustn't deceive ourselves. We're not engineers of the soul, capable of bringing about changes in society with a single film. The process is a relative one. There are no absolute criteria. We don't know and that uncertainty is our strength. It drives us to say things over and over again different ways - more clearly, more explicitly.
