Raymond Fleuriot:
But it all seems so hopeless, Father. What can you say for a woman when she won't speak for herself? What can you tell a jury when you've got nothing to say?
Bernard Fleuriot:
Well, there's an old one I've used once or twice- simple, effective.
Raymond Fleuriot:
What is it?
Bernard Fleuriot:
If your client is a woman and the case is difficult, find some man and blame it all on him.
Maurice Dourel:
Right, it's all our fault, and here's to the sweet, foolish women who go right on letting us do it.
[Fleuriot chuckles]
