[Max discovers Maxie made paper dolls of a newspaper he clipped up]
Max:
Fine thing. You cutting up paper dolls while I'm racking my brain trying to write an important letter.
'Slapsy' Max:
Go on. What letter could you write that's important?
Max:
[showing him a letter he wrote]
That! Asking our creditors for more time so we can stay in business. Now, get busy and clean up the place!
'Slapsy' Max:
I don't see why I should clean it up. Nobody ever comes in here but us.
