Master of Ceremonies:
The MC walks over to Spanky's Mother and Spanky, who are fantically trying to get ready. The MC says
[Well, is Barrymore ready yet ?]
Spanky's mother:
The mother knows the man is very angry but she' doesn't have him ready
[no not quite]
Spanky:
The MC is boiling angry. Spanky looks at him saying
[yeah, don't rush me big boy]
Master of Ceremonies:
The MC says back
[OK, one more peep out of you and you don't go on at all]
Spanky:
Spanky says
[peep. Peep,peep]
Spanky's mother:
The mother jumps in to stop any further damage
[pay no attention to him, it's all just part of his act. You'll see I promise.]
Spanky's mother:
the MC storms off but the mother starts to scold her son
[what is the matter with you? You could have ruined your chance to see win the prize]
Spanky's grandmother:
As Spanky's mother is chastising Spanky you hear a loud belly laugh coming from off screen. It's Spanky's grandmother
[deep loud bellylaugh]
Spanky's mother:
Spanky's mother is startled by the woman's laugh. Initially she becomes very self conscious of it but she gets angry saying
[Well, I certainly don't think this is so funny!]
Spanky's grandmother:
The grandmother gives it right back, putting her hand on her shoulder saying
[Well I sure do]
Spanky's grandmother:
and again gives her that belly laugh .
Spanky:
Spanky's mother turns to put Spanky's helmet on him. Spanky pulls on the side of his mother's overcoat he says
[me too]
Spanky:
the mother puts the helmet on him backwards she was so jumbled.
