In Kenya in 1953 there was a violent uprising against British Colonial Rule led by the Mau Mau who were mainly from the Kikuyu Tribe. In this violent struggle thousands were killed and more than a million Kikuyu were imprisoned in British detention camps.The conflict eventually led to independence but for many the past was never resolved. Based on a true story.
