Reta Winters:
[voice over]
Day by day, Norah is recovering at home, awakening, atom by atom, and shyly planning her way back into the world. It is bliss to see, though I have not permitted myself, while rejoicing. We watch her closely, but pretend not to. She may return to college, or maybe not. We live, ten ten, in a world of maybes. Right now, she is sleeping. We are all still sleeping. It is early morning, late in the month of March.
