it was brilliant even though I didn't understand a word of it. We had to tighten our belts because of the loan payments but it was our future and I got to build my dream house and then the recession hit. Construction fell to its lowest point in years, people were being laid off everywhere and I was one of them. I was desperate we stood to lose everything: the house I had building even our own home. I swallowed my pride and borrowed five thousand dollars from my father but it wasn't enough, we needed fifty thousand dollars
