Mr. Shergill:
[on the phone]
Karan? Where are you? How are you?
Karan Shergill:
I can't tell you where I am, but I'm okay, Dad.
Mr. Shergill:
Thankl God for that. You're mother's been praying day and night - and when you call, she isn't home.
Karan Shergill:
This call is for you, to tell you something I have never told said. Dad, you have given me so much in life, but all I have given you is grief.
Mr. Shergill:
Why are you saying this, Karan?
Karan Shergill:
Please don't think that I'm not aware of this. I love you, Dad.
Mr. Shergill:
I love you, too. Now, let me tell you something. Not one business associate or friend has a son or a brother out there on the front. These people just talk big, but I can proudly say "My son is on the battlefield." There was a time I was upset with you, but today I'm proud of you, very proud.
Karan Shergill:
Thank you Dad. Thank you.
