The modern movement really suffered from trying to be always manifested and manifestos of the 20th century were as destructive as they were creative. Form follows function, what a lot of nonsense. These things don't help us. At the same time you can say I don't believe in manifestos therefore there is nothing to talk about. That's not true. I think there is another way of trying to describe ideas and thoughts, and maybe at this point of my career I can be a bit more justified in being able to say having worked this long in this way, these are the things which interest me, and maybe from the experience now at least those words might be worth reading.
