The world is divided. A Western Bloc, and an Eastern Block. These superpowers, locked in cold war, face off across a Pacific border zone: J-Country. Once a global economic force, goods shortages and income inequality have worsened together with political, religious, and ethnic crises, creating an underground economy. The balance of power between East and West rests on information gathered by spies in J-Country.
