Tom Brand:
Quite a bit - five thousand dollars.
Olaf Brand:
*How* in tarnation did you ever spend five thousand dollars?
Tom Brand:
Ohh, on some things.
Olaf Brand:
[yelling]
Get out of my sight, you insolent young pup! Get out before I lose my temper. Five thousand dollars... when I was your age I was living on three dollars a week - used molasses instead of sugar in my coffee... get out!
[throws book at Tom and it hits him as he makes for the door]
