[after the fox's numerous failures at trying to get a chicken, for a meal, it is so hungry that it decdes to disguise itself as a chicken thinking it will finally succeed]
Fox:
I'm so hungry, that I'll do anything.
[the fox jumps up using springs, pretending to woo Clara the Hen]
Fox:
Juliet?
Clara the Hen:
Oh, Romeo!
Fox:
[fox jumps again by Clara's window]
Precious jewels?
Fox:
[fox jumps again by Clara's window]
Car? And heavy too.
[fox, still in air while holding automobile]
George:
Clara, act your age.
[guardian chicken, George then stripped the fur off of the fox's chest and tail, and gives the fox fur coat to Clara the Hen. Clara hugs George]
Clara the Hen:
Oh, George! You shouldn't have.
Fox:
[in a weak and dazed voice]
You can say that again, sister. George, you shouldn't have done it. You shouldn't have done it.
[closing credits and music then begin]
